Revenue, foreign aid targets missed

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s revised budgetary estimates for the outgoing year show that the government has not only failed to get its due share from the federal government but also failed to achieve its own tax and non-tax revenue targets and to fully receive foreign aid.

Over 55pc ADP funds unutilised so far

PESHAWAR: The Centre for Governance and Public Accountability, a non-governmental organisation, on Tuesday said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had utilised just 43 per cent of the Annual Development Programme 2015-16 funds by May 26.

683 cops sacrificed their lives in six years

PESHAWAR: As many as 688 policemen were killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the last six years, with 246 of them sacrificing their lives alone in the capital city. The share of Peshawar in the supreme sacrifice is 35.7 per cent of the rest of the province.
